WHAT TYPE OF WORKOUTS WILL YOU BE DOING?
HIIT STYLE (High Intensity Interval Training) We create our workouts fresh DAILY which allows us to deliver what you need during EVERY CLASS! As a coaching team, we design every program with a combination of cardio, strength and mobility. One day you may be doing Kettle bell swings with a body weight move like pushups and the next day we’ll have you moving around the gym with battle ropes, tire strikes and other unique equipment. We pride ourselves on never doing the same workout twice to help drive faster results, keep things new and have more fun. All of our classes have a HIIT format focused on endurance and strength.
WHAT IF I CAN’T DO IT?
That’s Impossible! Our workouts are flexible which means that there are multiple ways to perform every movement. Our coaches are there to provide the support you need to be successful in your accomplishments before, during and after the workout. If you have an injury, we help you modify. If you’re not ready to do a move, we will help provide a strategic alternative to get you closer to achieving it. Our coaches will never tell you what you need to do but will offer guidance when another option or bell size will make the workout better for you.
WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SWING A KETTLE BELL?
No problem! No matter how much bell work you’ve had (or haven’t had), UrbanIRON is here to help you with this functional training technique, educate you on proper form and support you on your journey. After all, kettlebells are the foundation of our training and the key to the results attained at our facility. It’s movement your body was born to do, yet it may not “feel” like that at first…it takes time. We’ve all had our 1st day, we all remember it and lived to tell about it.
WHAT CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?
Any class! But if you’re unsure, start with Bootcamp or TRX. Those are the easiest to jump into and you’ll most likely be familiar with some of the moves. But, you don’t have to start there. If you want to jump into a kettle bell class, just let the coaches know it’s your first time and they will take good care of you.

First week free! If you’re new to UrbanIRON we offer a free week which allows you 7 consecutive days to EXPERIENCE how the workouts change each day, FEEL the diversity of our classes and GET the hang of managing the flow. If a free week doesn’t fit your schedule, your first class is free and you can purchase the 5 class pass for $30. This offer allows you to choose the 5 classes that work for you in 30 days.
WHAT IF I NEED MORE KETTLE BELL HELP OUTSIDE CLASS TO FEEL MORE CONFIDENT IN CLASS?
Complimentary beginner session with any membership! Kettlebell technique does not happen on day one…the reality is it’s a skill perfected over time. If you would like dedicated time with a trainer, we offer a 1 time beginner session with the purchase of your membership. This is not a required session but an option for those looking to focus their skill building in a controlled environment.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Be comfortable! Wear something that supports mobility, sweating, swinging, lifting and shoes with a flat/sturdy sole (i.e. cross training versus running). Women typically wear leggings or shorts and a tee, tank & sports bra. Men often wear shorts and a tee-shirt or tank top.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring yourself! You WILL break a sweat so come prepared with a water bottle and towel…a water fountain is available and we have bottled water and towels available for purchase.
SHOULD I EAT?
Food prior to a workout is a personal preference! If you typically eat before a workout keep it light and no matter what…drink water to get hydrated!
